Korea Travel, Best Places to Walk in Seoul and Eat!

Everyone has it's own type of traveling.
I do enjoy crazy party type of travel where you eat, drink and enjoy the part style in that country. I also like the opposite, traveling for healing.

We are always living in a busy life and sometimes you need to slow down, take a deep breath, dust your self and just let your soul and mind heal. Sometimes when I have too much mind in my head there is a good place I take time to walk and just eat delicious food.

Let me introduce you to the place.

It's in Jongno by the Jongmyo Shrine, also if you go north it's the Changdeokgung Palace!

I'll explain more about the two places later, today it's all about that nice road to walk and food you could eat! XD

When you start your road at Changdeokgun palace and walk towards the Shrine, you will see a place called "잔술집" it used to be a place where old man get together to drink rice wine(막걸리) and you will be surprised how inviting they are to a new company to drink with.

I never really had a drink in that place, mostly because grampas get very excited their welcoming was bit too much for me to sit together to drink. However you can just try a visit to feel the connection that only Korean seem to do we call it Jong(정).

You will see part of the palace outside garden with all the trees and the nice sand under your shoes as you walk along the walls of the palace.

It's a peaceful place to walk inside the busy city life

I actually like to walk when it's dark and there is the dreamy lamp lights on

When you finished walking to the end it's time to eat the calories you have lost! XD

Famous food restrant around the place there is the Drug-Duk-Bulk-Gi(마약떡볶기)
They call it drug because it's so addictive taste. It's a famous small food store inside the street market in Korea.

That food store have been on TV shows so many times, I just had to go eat everytime I visit Jonglo! The store is inside the GuangJangSiJang(광장시장)

Their Duk-Bulk-Gi is great but their main special food is the
KimBalb and it looks very different from the original kimbalb
It's smaller and fits into one or two bits. What you need to do is dip it in to mustard and eat it. Kimbalb goes well with mustard. You'll be surprised! XD

But this is just one of the delicious food in the street market, I would have to write series of blog just to explain the good food and the famous food stores inside!
There is so many delicious food that the street market itself is quiet famous!
It's one of the top street markets in Korea. I'll introduce it more on another post.

  4. A metered payment is uncertain, and this gives many travelers quite a bit of worry, naturally. Fortunately, you can find some cars that offer an airport taxi flat rate as you no long have to worry about how much you will be paying. airport taxi
