Some one asked me, while staring at my stacks of makeup. If you choose three and have to live with only that what would you choose?

Three Skin Care that I will Never Give Up

First of all this questions is more than a question it's almost like asking "Do you like your dad or your mom better?" It's unanswerable!
Second of all, it's a fortune to throw away that much makeup. Do she even know how much it cost to buy all these things, take time reading reviews, visiting the shop for testing, there is no way to repay all the work I put in my collection.

But I find this questions interesting in the concept "What is most important to you?" and as I talk with my readers I realized not many girls know how to take care of their skin in the first place. Everyone thinks Skin care is most important than Makeup. Well, in a way it's correct but they are leaving out even more important things. Which is my top 3 Cosmetic.

#1 Exfoliation Products

My biggest reason why I feel Exfoliation products are important is because it's the best way to keep your skin healthy. Not only does it brightens up darkened skin (One way of whitening care) it also give a natural dewy glow to your skin without cushion. Not only that by peeling off the dead layer of skin it even helps new skin to grow much better.

Exfoliation whats that?

Well no use telling you all the good thing about it when you don't know what Exfoliation is. Our skin every 30~31 days (a Month), natural peels off one layer of dead skin cells for the new skin cells to take it's place. But to sensitive women like me, and the busy life style of city girls, stress and various other reasons may delay the natural peeling. Sometimes the layer can get so thick to make your skin so dry or so sensitive, Also a reason why pore is clogged and cause acne, makeup getting cakey, why healthy skin turns sensitive, sometimes cause oily skin.

#2 Moisturizing

Moisturizing is basic of all basic when it comes to skin care, moist strengthen up the skin and helps the skin to have strength the immune strength it has. Skin does it's best when its not dry, the reason why skin becomes oily because skin is trying to keep the moist from hydrating, If your skin is so weakened that it can't even protect itself, your skin becomes dry. Keeping your skin from drying out is the Key to maintaining none trouble skin.

#3 Sun Block

Products I reviewed : Hera Sun Mate Cooling Moose, It's Skin Smart Solution 365 Silky Sun Essence

I probably mentioned this numerously but I still hear girls they don't apply sun block every 2 hours! I know it's hard to apply sun cream every 2 hours because it ruins your makeup. What I like to do is to use cushion that has SPF so that I can layer on when ever I need to fix my makeup. Or use Spray type of sun block, but if I don't do makeup that day I tend to use sun cream because I find this is most effective against the sun.

We age every minute of our life after you reached your adulthood, sun increase the speed, Even brings out dark spot underneath your skin and as it stacks up it will created dark spots all over your face. If you still don't do sun block even after that, the dark spot will darken, and increase in numbers. Acne is also caused by sun to those who has sensitive pores that reddens under the sun. Blemishing skin is also caused by sun block.

#3-2 Cleansing

Clean skin is very important for healthy skin, like any parts of your body, hygienic is important to keep off germs and viruses to cause illness. Same goes to your skin.
If you do not do your cleansing correctly it usually end up become clogs on your pores, causing acne, black, white heads. And widen up your pores which in a cycle cause more black and white heads. I like to do weekly clay pack to clean off pores and tighten it up. And for daily I use a good nice oil cleanser to cleans off dust and anything that is getting stuck on my skin. I also have this brush that vibrates that softy cleans even the deep parts of the skin without really widening the pores.

How to Use Sun Block the Right Way

Sun Block, I probably stress this a lot to all readers who ever had asked me about skin care.
Sun block is crucial to keep a flawless, even skin tone. Because blemishes, acne, dark spots are all caused by the sun ray.

How to Use Sun Block the Right Way

First we should know the basic of sun block in order to understand the use of it further.

There are 3 different type of sun rays you should know.

I won't go further than that because this is not a science class

As in the picture there are UV A, B and C

• UVA is what cause wrinkles, and come towards the ground without being disturbed by other sources. Long exposure to UVA can cause dark spots.  This is what comes to our skin the most
  
• UVB is what cause sun burns, and dark spots on your skin. Its one of the dangerous sun rays you need to protect yourself from
  
• UVC Almost all the rays are absorbed by the Ozone, but since even the Ozone is disappearing, this is what causing all the skin cancer on people's skin.

Now you know WHY the sun block is so important for young beautiful skin.

The one way to know how well the sun block works is SPF(Sun Protection Factor) and PA(Prodtection grade of UVA)

SPF is how well it protects your skin from UVC

PA shows how well it protects your skin from UVA

PA is greaded with "+" sign, '+' means protects '++' well protect '+++' extremely well protects

Now this doesn't mean you have to wear the highest SPF you can find.

Because higher the SPF the more chemical ingredients is added and also more oily it becomes.

The wise way to choose your SPF is by the season or your life style.

• Normal Skin and Normal days : SPF 15~30 PA++
• Long days under the Sun and Water : SPF 40~50+ PA+++
• Sensitive skin : SPF 15~30 PA++
• Easily Blemished Skin (Allergic to the sun rays not cosmetic): SPF 40~50 PA+++
• Winter : SPF 15~30 PA++
• Skiing (Snow reflects all of the sun rays towards your skin): SPF 40~50+ PA+++

Sun Block works best when you apply the cream 15~25 minutes before you go outside, to give time for the cream to absorb into the skin. And apply every 2~3 hours because that's how long it lasts.

Now we know what to use it's time to see some type of products that is available in the market and how to use them wisely.

In the Big picture there is two type of sun block

Physical and Chemical

The difference is how they block the sun rays

Physical Sun Block scatter the sun rays

Most common ingredients : Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium compounds

Pros: Great for all types of skin and there is no side effect

Cons: cause white cast and could feel heavy in some type of sun block products. More oily than Chemical Sun Block

Chemical Sun Block absorbs the sun ray

Most common ingredients :Nitrobenzoic acid, Mate scenarios , Nitro demo uranium iso birth, Faber, Benzophenone

Pros: Don't not make white cast, 

Cons: cause sensitivity, absorb well into the skin and can cause infections, not for sensitive skin

1. Sun Cream

The most common and the longest used product in the world.

Texture is cream type and these days they both come as Physical type and Chemical type. It does get oily as you use higher SPF and if you are not too careful it can cause makeup to cake. Since there are cosmetic that comes with lower SPF you can layer it , using light SPF25 of two different product across the face will give you higher sun blockage than individual product can give.

2. Sun Spray

Sun spray are Chemical type and we all love this sun block because of the convenience it has, plus it's so much easier to spray it on top of your makeup and make sure you applied sun block every 2~3 hours.

However Sun spray contains gas although it's not dangerous to the skin, I strongly advice you not do inhale any of it. They didn't test the safety of inhaling the ingredients.

When you use sun spray the one thing you need to know is, because it's small drops of sun block on to your skin, you need to at least spray it 30 sec in order to densely make a barrier on your skin. If you just spray it for 1~3 seconds it's not enough sun spray to protect your skin from the sun. Well, that's useless...

These days there are product that comes with without gasses for safer use.

I personally think sun spray is not a idea type for complete cover but there are girls thinks convenience is the top priority. 

3. Sun Powder

The reason for this product existence is to make something that is not oily at all. Yes it's not oily, but it cause white cast and not really easy to apply smoothly because it could mass. However as time pass and more better cosmetic comes in develop and now there are sun powder that comes as skin color and doesn't cause white cast and clings better to the skin.

But there are few things you need to remember when using sun powder. Just like sun spray you need to thoroughly apply the powder or it wouldn't work so well in protecting your skin from the sun

I personally think Sun Powder is not a idea type for complete cover because it is easily blown away by wind and can look strange because of the power color. If you use little it wouldn't work, so there is no way to measure how much powdering is natural and also cover your skin from the sun completely.

NOTE : Some times sun powder can cause eye infections, and can cause Respiratory disease.

I personally recommend using sun cream over sun powder and sun spray. 

I hope this post give you some idea what you need to do in order to protect your skin form everyday sun rays.

FAQ

How do I wash off Sun block?

Well sun block does not need washing twice like you would with makeup.

But there is one thing you must do, when you wash sun block since it's more oily than other skin care product you need to first wash your face with warm water and make as much bubble with cleansing foam and cling the bubbles to your skin as if you are massaging your face.

Sometimes people like to do double cleansing to make sure they feel they skin is very smooth. Usually this means you have irritated your skin too much. But cleaning your skin not probably will also means you didn't clean off all your dirt and oil.

Does Sun Block Cause Acne?

No, or overall no. 

But there are people who find using chemical type sun block bit irritating and cause allergy. Than you might see some acne here and there, so I personally recommend people with acne to get physical sun block.

And if you already have a lot of sun spots marks and dark spot, you need to use sun block even more. Sun blocking these parts well can help curing these darken parts of the skin and also helps with curing if you are visiting the doctor about it.

and I have (yet another one) a sunscreen to introduce!

The liquid texture will become richer and silky

When I first spread this cream it felt moist and oily

But as it soak in it turn your hand very silky feeling.
