How to take Care of Sensitive Skin

Now that you know whether or not your have sensitive skin
It's time to know how to take care of them.

What you should get rid of :
- artificial scent, artificial pigment
- Retinol : good for anti ageing but can cause sensitive reaction to sensitive skin
- Vitamin C : Great for whitening effect and oxidation however can cause skin reaction.
- Preservative : use often to lengthen the usage time
however this can cause skin reaction.
- AHA : called to be natural ingredient that helps control dead skin cells,
However this worsen sensitive skin, because sensitive skin protective layer is weak
that's why the skin reacts, AHA scrubs off the protective layer when it's already weak!
one of the must get rid of ingredient
- BHA :  aka Salicylic Acid mostly used for taking care of skin problems

What you should get :
Copper, Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin E, Vitamin B5

Cleansing

Get rid of stuff that has artificial scent, artificial pigment
Get stuff that has sedation effect, Ingredients like Aloe
For sensitive skin don't try to clean your skin a lot of times
to get that clean feeling, try washing your face once but softly rub the soap in instead of washing it 3~4 times.
When you wash off the soap don't rub your skin, splash the water on to your skin
(this may get you wet though XD)

Solid Soap vs Liquid Soap

Solid soap is Alkaline (Alkaline is more a base than your skin pH)
Liquid Soap is Neuter helps control your skin pH
Use Liquid Soap!

If you need extra cleaning use cleansing toner
(remember to wet the cotton enough, if you try to save the product the cotton can irritate your skin.)

Products of Recommendation

CNP Laboratory Daily Filling Foam / Mary Kay Customized Skin Care (3 types)

Basic Skin Care

Get rid of stuff that has Peppermint, menthol, eucalyptus
These are mostly used for lip care
But when these get around your skin
this can cause reactions

Try to find natural product, and products that doesn't not have stuff you don't need on your skin.
Most natural product last about 6 months,
But there are brands who have found natural ingredient that can act like preservative

**Always test before use**

Products of Recommendation
Primera Lift up/Moist up/Tone up/Clear up / CNP Laboratory Mugener Healing Ample

Sun Cream

There is two type of Sun cream

Physical Sun cream VS Chemical Sun Cream

Physical Sun cream : makes a thin layer over your skin and reflects sun rays
mostly used ingredient : zinc oxide, titanium oxide

Chemical Sun Cream : Adsorb the sun ray into your skin and chemically dissolve it(no milky white feeling)
Mostly used ingredient : Oxybenzone, benzophenone, Mexoryl

Now for sensitive skin which one do you think it is better to use?

Physcial Sun Cream

**These days there are mixtures of the two types these has very little milky feeling and apply real softy**

Tip : I know some of you don't like the whiteness after you use sun cream
Try using a wet sponge to apply the sun cream
This will lower the effect but can give less of those white color
When you use this method use more sun cream!

  3. Super helpfull !!!
I assume my skin is a sensitive one, although it doesn't get easily turn red because of the sun, dust.
My skin react when i try to use skin care product. I remember the first breakout and still happens until now is when 10months ago because i try to use oatmeal as my cleanser.the first 3 days it works like miracle.but in the 4th days suddenly i suffer very bad breakout. It still happen untill now. I try to take care of my skin. I started to use face wash. So far there're already 5 different brands that i try but sadly none of them is suitable.they would be too harsh for my skin, make my skin extremely dry or even make me have more acne.(it still happen although i try to choose the one that doesnt contain sls, paraben that i assume i dont go well with those ingredient).then i decided not to use anything. I noticed that my skin even better when i just cleanse my face with water.yes just water.(Though i still suffer the acne but at least it doesn't as worst as when i use face cleanser.but i know with just using water won't heal my skin. i want my clear skin back. I want to get rid of this crazy acne, this tons of acne scar and also crazy blackhead that is everywhere on my skin..That's why i want to start doing skin care regime. I do want to put on the step like cleansing-toning-serum-moisturizer..so do you think will work?and can you please tell me how i can start?

  4. If cleansing foam irritates your skin too much.
Try using cream cleanser. I find this product very useful to do when my skin is in HIGH ALERT SENSITIVE. It's a different type of cleanser and you don't use water to wash it off you just keep rub rub rub, if you know how to give your skin lymph massage it really will help your skin to let go of toxic that is made everyday. If you are having acne and black heads, oil cleanser is not for you. If cream cleanser don't work try using VERY NATURAL ONLY hard soap.
I see your skin is having bad acne and black heads. AND sensitive. you might need to try using less irritating masks to get rid of black heads. like CNP products, but if you are sensitive remember to use SMAPLES before anything! If you are having very sensitive skin you might not be able to use all the "normally" used product steps. You might have to reduce it to maybe two~three products. A soft toner-ampoule-cream. or if toner is causing too much moist, use only ampoule and cream. but using only the very natural.
Try using other types of soap and tell me how it turned out for you.
Remember to use ONLY NATURAL BRANDS my favorite hard soap is Lanoa

  5. Thanks a lot for your reply >,<
It means so much to me

Thank you again for telling me that cleansing oil isn't suitable for my skin type.actually i'm going to grab the innisfree apple juicy cleansing oil to remove my makeup because i'm planning to put on bb cream to cover my skin imperfection(i'm just going to start using makeup, btw i'm 19)

hmmm i'll try to use cleansing cream..can u give any idea what cleansing cream brand that it suitable for sensitive skin?but hmm i have a combination skin and when i just wake up in the morning, i notice that there will be whitehead on my chin so is the cream cleanser too creamy for me?and for the natural hard soap, do you mean natural soap bar in here?I've seen your review about the lanoa soap and it's so promising, but unfortunately i have no idea who sell it in my country so probabaly i will try the natural soap bar first

CNP product must be great.you seem talked soo many times about it on your post. But again i have no idea who sell it in here so instead i think i'll try innisfree i heard a lo about the jeju volcanic clay mask...have you used it?is it good?
and for the skincare regime i think i'll try innisfree the minimum line, esp the toner and the ampoule..what do you think about it.and also i still can't find any good moisturizer..any reccomendation?

again really thank youu for you to reply :)

  6. Oh sorry about the cleansing cream, I messed up in my head.
For Oily skin like you. you should try looking for cleansing gel and cleansing water.
Cleansing oily do work for all type of skin but I really think you should try looking into jell and water type of cleansing. The innisfree apple juicy cleansing is one of more refreshing type so it's okay for oily skin to use,
Sorry for the wrong information I think I got confused again, Don't look for cleansing cream that's for dry skin, cleansing gel cleansing water is good for oily skin.
Recommendation would be new skin pure cleansing gel.
I have a lot of friends with oily skin talk about that gel product. I don't use gel cleansing because I tend to be dry in winter.
If you don't know where to buy, I'm doing a event for my readers I shop the brand products that you can't get overseas but can get in Korea. I take no fees for myself so I could buy it for you if you wish to try CNP or Lanoa soap.
Jeju Volcanic Clay mask as two type super and light (I think they changed the product few months ago made me confused which is what.) I think it will be helpful for your skin, I don't recommend this to dry skin but since you are having problems with oil this can help your skin to clean off. For oily skin I mostly recommend Tony Moly Wonder Water moisturizing Cream or the face shop chia seed cream those are both oil free and very moisturizing.

innisfree minimum line!! its a great line for something cheap and for sensitive skin. Because your skin is also sensitive this line would be a great start for you :)
I hope my comment helps out :)
