Daltokki, Whitening Makeup Base, Whitening Essence

Whitening Essence, I always have these product that you can easily brighten up your tone by a lot and also something that you mix with other products to brighten up your skin tone. Also Sometimes product colors in Korean Brand are so narrow, there isn't much options and some girls find their skin right in the between 21 and 23 and always in trouble which one to find. I also sometimes find colors that are in between I can buy both colors and mix them together but some time it's bit too costly.

If I have this essence I can easily mix it to bright up the colors. Also I use it for makeup base. I used many of these types before and reviewed on it, like Pioom 2NE1 Secret Whitening Cream, Tony moly panda cream.

Now that I finished using them, I needed another one. It's bit boring for a makeup blogger to use the same ones again, when there are thousand more to explore!
So the next one is Daltokki meaning Moon Rabbit in Korean. This brand doesn't have much product but each products are quiet famous among makeup blogger. I decided to give it a try and introduce you a new brand and new products.

Whitening essence makes your skin immediately white and also has whitening effect that makes even the skin inside to be white.

Isn't the package just SO cute? Look at the white rabbit! 

So ugly but so hilarious to see every morning XD

The rabbit will star at you with that eyelashes as if daring you to become white like it.

It's a nice clean pumping product and one pump is this much amount.

It's quite watery but the moist evaporate so fast.

Like the other two products I have review this product also tend to have matte finish which is bit drying. 

I like the matte finish because it's not sticky and doesn't get into all over the clothes

And since this is for body use too, you don't want the cream getting into clothes especially black clothes.

So what I like to do is mix it with whitening cream which makes a very natural whitening

Also solves the issue of the cream being too drying.

See the natural color when you mix it with the cream?

If you are okay with drying apply little layer over the skin and spread as quickly as possible. Or it might get just too crakey, controlling the amount is important too.

You can see that it gets stuck between the cracks I applied bit too much on first try

And as you can see it does have dry matte finish that so many blog reviewers are so sad about. This products is all great but that one point that it's drying.

So like I have explained numerous times, with this product it's best to mix it with moisturizing cream, You can mix this with sun cream too for the last skin care step. So that you wouldn't need to apply makeup base afterwards. It will turn out much natural.

Or like I said mix it with foundation for more brightening and lighter skin tone.

I like the fact that you can use this for every where.

All over your body, where the skin easy gets darkened.

I tend to mix it with body cream after shower that help light up the tone.

Since it also helps with whitening inside it really brightens up the skin tone permanently.

Tony Moly, Volume Base, BCdation All Master Comparison

I liked the first version Tony Moly BCdation and I heard that All Master came out afterwards, I was very curious of the difference. Also a reader requested, how can I resist? Just another excuse to buy more makeup base. (*Eyeing my stack of cushion*) Well, cushion and foundation is totally different things (right girsl?), I needed that BCdation All Master.

I will be doing a short comparison with BCdation and the All master, let see how the product changed.

Unlike BCdation, All Master has only one color.

Quiet similar to BCdation but I feel its more closer to BB cream.

More sticky more denser than BCdation

The original was more moisturizing but had low coverage

All Master is has higher coverage but less moisturizing

So if you are not careful, I think any skin type might have been cakey problem

To use this product it's important you do your skin care very moisturizing

Another way to prevent cakey makeup is to use puff for this.

and apply really lightly over your face and tap it to help it cling better onto the skin

If you feel dry, you can even spray some mist onto the puff or sponge before you tap some of this cream on.

Or you can mix some moisturizing cream and this cream to give more moist.

I personally think that if you can really do good skin care and moist puff applying method and fix the dryness, the high coverage this bb cream has can really give your face a clean look and round. Giving more radiant atmosphere on your face.

Well this is the brand's opinion I did a good comparison to help you see.

Maybe you might think differently.

 BCdation / BCdation All MAster

I think I failed the amount control on BCdation All Master

It looks bit thick on the picture.

This is why I suggest less cream that you would have used for BCdation.

The colors are similar, All master bit more yellowish probably because of powder for higher coverage.

But they both absorb fast into the skin giving a nice clean feeling

OIL TEST

 BCdation / BCdation All MAster

All Master had a lot more oil and wasn't as round cream as it was

you can see there is bit of texture difference here in the picture

I was surprised how much oil BCdation All Master had.

But you don't need to worry about betting greasy makeup.

Because All Master had this fast absorbency that I didn't think there would be this much oil. Actually it's quiet drying if you apply bit too much so I was bit surprised of this result.

LUNA, Cushion With Skin Care All in One, Water Found Pack

Luna, it's was quiet a popularity after it was aired on Get it Beauty, but somehow I had no big interest in getting one, probably because of my cased up cushions I have to finish, and mostly because I was quiet happy with the Lalavesi Devil Cushion and Innisfree Long Wear Cushion. I have been more into semi matte, powdery finish for the oils during the summer.

Remember 1 Degree hotter means that much wider pores and that much more oil!

Now Korea is in their fall season, big round fruits are cheapest and most delicious this year, and sky so blue with white puffy clouds that makes me stare in awe in my busy Korean Worker's Life.

Well, it's fall now, and that means... DRY PATCHES
I love fall and all the fresh fruit I get to enjoy but its also dry, and windy. My oils will disappear and my dry patches will widen. I need something bit more moisturizing. I had a reader who also wanted to read a review about this product, so I decided to give it a try.

My skin type : Easily environment effected, During Spring Dry and very sensitive, During Summer Combo with a lot of oil patches, During Fall, Combo with more dry than oily, Winter Dry Dry Dry.

 Luna Pack was introduced in Get it Beauty during their episode about Sweat and Water Proof Moisturizing Makeup, so I will be focusing how well it's against sweat and water.

One of the biggest features of this product is it's texture and the moisturizing capsules, in the episode the makeup artist said with this one cushion you don't need to do skin care, so during the busy hours in the morning you can really reduce time with this one cushion. Perfect cushion if you are girls that can't wake up on the first alarm clock, or worse only can wake up on the last snooze like me. XD I am one lazy cat

So all in all I have very very high expectation out of this, but these days I am bit short on cash, decided to buy this one big huge makeup cabinet that reaches my roof. So if this cushion doesn't meet my skin or if I don't like it, it's a big wallet attack for me.

Refill comes in another box like this, I find this bit waste of boxes because the refill is wrap again in a plastic bag that you can rip open when you need it. But I guess it's good for those who tend to roughly deal with the refills and package might rip open

Tada! inside the cushion you can see the large Mirror which I love so much

and beautiful latte picture it bit blurry because it has that half transparent plastic cover to keep the foundation from drying out or getting dirty.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO CLOSE THE PLASTIC LID WELL!

Once this foundation goes dry, your cushion will be ruined.

I actually love this firm plastic cover it has, it's more sturdy than normal cushion and I liked it because it really prevents from my mirror getting dirty. You know how dirty mirrors really give bit of stress little by little every day. Having to clean it every single time I use this is bit annoying, so I really love the plastic cover this has :)

Such beautiful Latte design, it kinda reminds me of the Fill N Cover Pact

I thought the foundation will be hard but it turns out very creamy, with one press of the finger the white and brown mix well together.

There is only one color for this cushion I think it's those normal 21 colors with bit less yellowish color. if you look closely you can even see the bubble looking capsule that holds deep moist.

The puff is dense enough to melt down the foundation and apply evenly on the skin.

I love the feeling when I apply this foundation, it does have cooling effect

Cooling effect will help prevent your pores getting too wide under the sun.

I like to tap this on like I do with my cushion sun block really convenient, and also fix the makeup the same time! It's moistly as I assume but for my dry patches during fall it's not enough so I still do skin care base before using this foundation. 

I've been using this for like a week or so, I love the heavy moist it has, I think I can still do my original lighter skin care like I did on the summer and apply this and still feel moist! XD Because of the heavy moist the makeup never gets cakey at all.

I have personally wore this for a week or so and I seriously think it's also oil proofed as well, although it's fall, there is still strong sun that makes my pore want to make oil, and I do sweat a little when I work out doors. But I feel this cushion have been strong on me and did not melt like I thought it would.

Most moist cushion tend to have loose cling and doesn't last long as you hope it would. However maybe because of the creamy texture it has, the long lasting last longer than most moist cushion but not as much as matte cushions. Since it's a pack type of cushion, such cling is considered strong.

Coverage is average, Only does well with blemishes and bit of dark spots, but overall considered very natural coverage. To increase the coverage remember not to paint with your puff but tap as much as you can to increase the coverage.

One thing I didn't like is that the thick moist makes the cushion bit sticky getting all my hairs stick to my skin. But the after feeling gets better and gets less sticky as time passes. Well, until some of the moist is soaked into the skin. 

I really recommend to girls who is looking for moist cushion with Natural coverage.

Something Water and Oil Proof for outdoors or your overwhelming oils.

The cooling features is best to girls who has blemishing skins

It's a pump type so more cleaner use for all levels! xD

However one pump is bit too much, even half of the pump is enough to spread it across the face, Too much cream will only make your makeup thick and too cakey

Colors Comparison

Nature Beige / Light Beige

In the picture Nature beige looks a little bright but it both works good for all 21 color skin.

I think the colors difference is the color base than the color darkness.

Like the original Precious Mineral BB cream 

Its very light and transparent that helps with natural makeup

Coverage is Medium and clings to the skin well

Like it's popularity of it's bright shimmer from the pearl extract

I love the shimmer it has that gives a healthy glow to your skin

Loving it even more because of the Pretty Package!

I tend to like to brighten my skin bit more brighter colors

but Y2 seem to work as bright 21 which I am happy about XD

I don't use concealer when I use this, just one product is enough with this cushion :)

For people who are wondering what color they should get

Y2 is the Left Y6 is the Right

Y6 has bit of ash color so it look dark but its still considered bit brighter than color 23

Innisfree Mineral Glow Base, Perfect Makeup Base for Dewy Korean Makeup

I like innisfree but this line isn't my favorite, but since my reader asked me to do a review about this line, (I know I have a long list of request to do) Finally I found something in this line that I liked and that was the glow base.

I don't like the innisfree mineral melting cushion because it is too drying and I see no dewy glow it promises. 

I don't like the mineral fixer because the spray is so thick I get some part of my face too much fixer and some parts none.

There is the glow base stick, nice product really nice glow and great for highlighter on top of foundation. Unlike most highlighter the color is beige and has small pearl that makes it even more natural.

Today's review is about the Glow Base and Glow Base Stick. This is the two products I liked about Innisfree Mineral Glow Base, this line came out a while now but I know there are girls out there who are interested.

Innisfree Mineral Glow Base has this nice clean pump

One pump is enough for the face of course there is bit different with each person.

The cream texture is very moist and had this pinkish color

But it didn't show when I spread the cream,

Just had this watery glow

It had no oil just a lot of moist as you can see the oil paper wet around the cream.

This makeup base is not really for coverage but more for 

tone clearing and making your skin texture smooth

and give a very light watery glow

Innisfree Glow Stick is one of those skin toned highlighters
I know there are girls who don't like the white color of other brand's highlighter
Because it gives off a pale look or it just doesn't match your skin color
But this glow stick has this very small and beautiful glitter
and since it's a skin color it will be so much natural

The color is very close to goldish vanilla I liked how it brings in better glow into the skin

I didn't do my pore tightening care these days because I was too busy

The after picture I used the mineral glow base and added glow stick under the eyes

You can see the natural glow it bring to the face.

Overall I love the moist finish of the mineral glow base

It doesn't get dry even until the afternoon.

Yes it does has that small glitters inside the base

But its small enough so that it is not seen

However if you find allergic reactions from these glitter I suggest not to get this base.

I suggest this mineral glow base to dry and combination skin

To oily skin because it is not really moist and has no oil control

You might find your face greasy.

The glow stick is for anyone who does not like the normal white, pale brightener

and is looking for a creamy type, so that the pearls would not fall out

or looks bit fake.

I personally like to use cream or liquid type of highlighter because it gives more natural glow to the face than powder. Plus powder I experience too much fall outs and lands on my black jackets. Defiantly for those who love natural watery glow makeup

Face Makeup Product Recommendation, Get it Beauty Blind Test Top Products, Name, Cost and My Opinion Included

I love products and I love how Get it Beauty would let us see some unknown products in a new way. This blind test also helped beginners what to chose and helped beginners to see how there are difference in each product and each brand. Also that cheap brands doesn't always means bad quality.

This post you'll see products recommended by Get it Beauty and my small opinion about each product. I only uploaded all the face makeup products and will up load others as well, but for this week it's the top ranking Face Makeup presented in Get it Beauty Blind Test

Overall Opinion

I do like Hanskin because this brand has the darkest color tone in Korean Cosmetic

Also Hanskin has various BB cream that interest me in many way.

I have suggested Hanskin brand to many BB cream lovers and many of them enjoy it as much. Anyways Hanskin is BB cream Professional brand they have more than 20 types of BB cream all different uses!

Missha Mperfect cover BB is great, for me it also brightens up my skin tone.

Primer that covers up Pores

These primers are all great and my favorite is obviously Banila Co. and I am glad that this product has been noticed in Get it Beauty.

Benifit Doctor Feel Good last long but I feel that because its balm texture I feel it's heavy and the heaviness makes the balm to have loose cling, and if you apply too much it can move the makeup around.

Other Primer for pores are Miguhara BP Cream, The Face Shop Velvet Skin Primer

Loose Powder that will make all oily skin silky

For Oily skin or most any skin you need a powdery finish in order to help makeup to last longer. One of the powder used for this effect is loose powder.
All these are great!
I love Lotree Rosa loose powder because in greasy face just this once powder makes the face look so much prettier :") The skin expression is more softer afterwards and all that greasy shin change into more dewy shimmer! Since the powder of Lotree don't mass you can easily use this as makeup fixing product, use the powder consistently like you use oil paper.

If Lotree brand cost is bit too much You can get the cheaper version which is Tony Moly Luminous Perfume Face Powder, I think overall the features of the two there isn't a big difference, although there is bit of the feeling that the Lotree powder seems more lighter and color bit more less strong so that it doesn't cover up your blushes.

Cover Makeup Perfection Concealer!

Concealer, I like to use liquid concealer of darker tone for my dark circles before I apply a lighter tone of cream texture concealer on top (This is my way of completely covering dark circles). All of these are great, I would rather get the Bavipht than Can make because of the cost and I like how Baviphat has both stick and liquid in one product.

Other Liquid concealer there is Orbis, Orbis Acne Base, Etude House Duel Concealer, and Tony Moly

There is many ways to do a Dewy Makeup, you can either use liquid highlighter in the very end of the makeup step around the cheeks and C zone and the nose. For liquid highlight I like to use Etude House Face Glam, my favorite. But to those who likes to start off with a shimmery base these are all great products but I find them bit expensive. I'll go with Etude House Face Glam which is like 1/4 of the prices.

Yeah! Pore Balm. Great to express a smooth skin texture, I love Apieu the most but I guess many prefer the Face it Oil Cut better, which I understand the cream tends to be bit more smoother than Apieu but they both works for me. Kiss me is great too I like the coverage it has but The face shop and apieu is cheaper :") Price is important as well as the quality!

We love dewy makeup, I love the shimmer it makes the skin look so much healthier and prettier kinda like the skin those Actress has. XD

so shimmering powder is important for the finishing highlight touches for my face.

As you can see Expensive and Famous brands doesn't always mean the best quality. 

I liked the Laneige Shimmering powder because I felt there isn't much shimmering falls on my black clothes!

Anna Sui is great too, but I do not like the cost so much :/

My first ever BB cream is Skin79 BB cream.

I liked this bb cream for its coverage but I did not like the oil it had and didn't like how its bit heavy for me.

If you are looking for more High coverage BB cream here's some of my recommendation, Caolion Pore Sun BB cream, Tony Moly BCdation are all great!

Another point for me! I have recommended Innisfree mineral moisture foundation line, and I told you it's great product to try out! Even Get it Beauty and various people who voted said so!

I have tried Hanskin Super Light Touch, I really love how the vibration strength is strong but you can barely feel it irritate your skin. Also love how it is quiet and how well it makes the foundation sink into your skin and last so much longer and so much natural.

I also reviewed of a product that has won the forth place in this episode but I do think the product is worth a try. Han Kyung Hee Vibration Foundation

I also recommend Innisfree no sebum mineral powder, but if you compare the price innisfree should have won the first place. If you are more flexible with cash you can get the Banila Co, I love how the powder texture is so small that you can barely experience where powder masses on together like you might experience with innisfree.

If you find innisfree powder massing getting into your nerves you can use the innisfree no sebum pact which is a hard powder that has even better powder texture and long lasting.

Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura BB cream is always a steady seller, I like how it has a very nice glow when you apply on your skin. This is a cream that for people who like to tone up your skin. If you need coverage you can use concealer but if you are not careful it might not blend in well with this BB cream.

I have reviewed The Face Shop Face it Primer Velvet skin before, I really loved it and I do like it better than the innisfre and benefit, mostly because of the amount it has and how it's light and even bit moisturizing. I like the finish bit more better because it has this baby soft feeling. Which is great for all rough edges and oil that I have.

All of these are great but I like to buy cheaper brands like Apieu which actually won 4th place in this blind test. Apieu Smart Speeder Stick Foundation has bit lower coverage than these three but still stronger than the average. Other than that I do not feel Apieu product lacks anything else!
