Spring Eye Shadow Palette Recommendation, Etude House Play Color Eyes Juice Bar

It's spring! Yeah!....... it's spring right?
In Korea it's either so freezing you gotta wear a thick jacket or it's so hot you would think it's early summer! Phew, I could really feel the global warming problem effecting the weather!

Even so, it's spring time for all fashion, beauty industry and it means it's time to change your sick-of-brown color eye shadow into sweet spring pink and orange color! Okay if you haven't seen already I have already mentioned that some girls look better in pink, while others look better in orange!

Just a recap, Place your hand over this image, really....place you hand over your computer scree, mobile, tablet, etc. You will see in one color your skin looks round and pretty while in the other your hand will look like it's your grandma's.

1. Warm Tone : If your hand looks better in orange
2. Cool Tone : If your hand looks better in pink

Anyways this will really work with Warm tone girls, but in my experience if you do your makeup base correctly even cool tones can use this colors.

Okay let's start!

I love that It has a large mirror included and two sponge but I promise you it wears out before you finish the eye shadow.

(I got these from the etude house I had a bad eye infection I couldn't include this into the review, really... you don't want to see this...)

Conclusion

If you have bought the last few serious of the palette this color combination might disappoint you a bit, because it's really similar overall. (I own 2 out of 4 series.) What I love this edition is the Muscle Mania This limited color edition turned out to be my favorite. 

If you have used the Play Color Eyes series you might notice that it does lack clinging strength than the originals. The reason why I recommend still is because the colors is really pretty and can be used for all occasions! My favorite other than muscle mania is the orange blanco... The reason why I might think about buying another palette just for this color! It's more closer to brick color than orange but it's so pretty!

One thing is that Low Cacao color pigment is really weak other than that I really love the color combinations. Yes, like all etude house eye shadow it does have low pigment strength, which is good for beginners since you wouldn't get into the mistake of applying-too-much and start over. :)

Etude House, Palette Limited Edition, Fantastic Color Eyes

Etude House brings out quiet a bit of limited editions for us to try out. Every year Two different type of limited Edition Palette comes out.

I got only #2 Bohemian Soul for this review

I visited the Etude house the other day, and I found the limited edition that I have been eyeing. I looked at #1 colors It's really really pretty but more for party and more of special occasion and for dynamic makeup. I figured I won't be using must of that, so I decided to just get one. The Color #2 I think it's best for Daily makeup use :)

#1 is Bloody Holloween if you like that look you should get #1 but I am up fours for #2 look how natural it is! Works with any clothes.

Love the 180 degree foldable mirror and the brush it has although it might not last as I hope it would. Sponge puff brush just don't last long :/

SWATCHES!

As you can see Folk Song and Apricot Jam does not have giltter, But Apricot Jam is bit creamy type I think it will work for cream blusher and lips too. But for the lips it's bit drying.

Love the Ethnic Coal's dense but small glitters. So pretty!

 Gypsy Queen, Wanderlust, Freedom

Gypsy Queen is just glitter great for just a dot on the center of the eyelid to give bit of shimmer when ever you blink. The texture is soft so that it wouldn't get everywhere on your clothes.

Wanderlust has thick glitter with bit of redness inside the gold.

Freedom has red pearl. One of those deep pearl brown that you would like to apply everyday. Because of the deep brown I like to use on top of the eyeliner to give eyeliner longer lasting and also give bit of shimmer along the line.

Overall Opinion

I think this has less glitter fall outs than the last year series.

Last year series has just too much glitter for some girls but I think this is more controlled amount. 

Appliance is also much better than the last series much more softer type

The best of all is the colors, all of them is something what you will use everyday.

Some palette tend to mix never usable colors with some usable but this palette is for all time use!

Shockcara is already very popular even before it came to this special design

There is not big difference with the original just more pretty packaging so if you are already fan of this product, you might want to get this next time you purchase!

You can see the brush is like those roll brush very dense so that it could get all around the eyelashes, I do find that there is a lot of liquid draw out of this product

It's best to wipe some off on a tissue before applying it on your lashes.

I realized that the brush is Blue it's the liquid that is black XD

My PERSONAL WATER PROOF TEST

1. under flowing water

There was nothing erased

2. Rubbed 10 times with finger

Only the light layer has been rubbed off

3. I did a wipe of cleansing oil

Only the light layer has been rubbed off clean

4. Lip and Eye Remover

Removed Completely

As the test state, it's strong against oil and water

and even my consistent eye rubbing habit XD

So use Lip and Eye remover to remove this mascara!

Loving it even more because of the Pretty Package!

HOW TO USE THE STICKERS

1. Snow White

Cut out the stickers

cut out the stickers there should be plastic part that you can peel out and that's the side you want to place

place it on top of the nail

Finish with top coat

2. Jasmine

After You color in your nail base and color base

cut out the stickers there should be plastic part that you can peel out and that's the side you want to place

place it on top of the nail

3. Belle

After your nails is completely dry 

 peel out and that's the side you want to place

place it on top of the nail

Finish with top coat

4. Snow White

Place the stone on top of the nails before it's completely dry

The wet nails as it hardens will works as glue for the stones
