innisfee Long Wear Cushion Short Review : Perfect Summer Cushion that made me stop using anything else. Cushion tends to be weak coverage but this surprisingly had good coverage than expected. I love that it doesn't turn cakey after long hours work. Also help me preventing face turning greasy. Clean look and baby power soft finish made me rank this product the top 1

#2 innisfree Soybean Neck Cream

This is my best and only neck cream I use. Reason why? Because it doesn't make makeup cakey or mass my foundation. Love how its so easily spread on my neck. What more do I need to say this product does the work!

#3 innisfree Green Tea Line

I just love their cream and serum just too much. I didn't upload the serum review but it's ultimate the best. Their cream, love their balancing cream for combo skin and their original green tea cream. I did a comparison with Belif and Clinique the cream still stands a change again these big high end brands

#4 innisfree Creamy Tint Lipstick

This is innisfree top sold lipstick, and it's worth buying the whole collection! I love how the product colors turn out so natural. It's not really creamy, more matte type of lipstick but if you use it with lip moisturizer it's perfect fit for even dry lips. This is probably the best sold because of the colors. Just a tip, remember to apply as if tapping. This works better and prevents flaky lips if you don't do lip peels.

#5 innisfree Mineral Moisture Foundation

Even if its a liquid foundation I could still feel it has a soft firm finishing texture which I love. If you have flaky makeup than I suggest you try this foundation. The rich moist is enough for dry flaky skin it doesn't turn cakey. For a cheap foundation it has a high quality.

Product That Didn't Make It To The Top But Still A Recommendation.

• innisfree Orchid Enriched Cream

innisfree is advertising this a lot. Every advertisement they do is all about this cream. Its a thick cream although it absorb fast. It wasn't a moisturizing enough for me. I do like the anti aging effect it has I do had to find applying again after the cream was absorbed because of dryness. I did do a review about innisfree Orichid Enriched Cream because I really like how it has so many features that I think shows effect after at least one bottle.

• innisfree Rose Marbling Brighter

This product is the top sold brightener in innisfree brand. Which I can see why. I don't like white pale pearl for highlighter but this rose marble has mixture of colors that makes the overall more natural. I mean who has white skin in the first place? The only thing I didn't like was their weak case... innisfree tend to have weak facial makeup case. Their skin care products is hard plastic but not this. Anyways, just love the pearl.

• innisfree Gossy Lip Lacquer

I love this collection. Beautiful Fall colors I love the colors and all but I do feel it slippers around my lips too much. For a lipstick that is strong pigment once it is smeared it's easy to spot. But Still If I use a lipstick fixer it doesn't feel that bad. But I did have two occations that someone caught me with a smeared lipstick with this that I had to put it out of the ranking but still love the moist and color it has.

Innisfree, Fall Collection, Cream Mellow Lipstick Full Collection

Innisfree this years Fall Lip collections!!!!
If you haven't known about Korean brand for so long, you might not know that innisfree brings out 10 colors in the spring and fall and this year they brought out so beautiful collection that I had to get the full collections!

I really think you will like it too.

This fall the trend is all about moist and yet matte so that the colors wouldn't disappear as moist disappear from the cold harsh winds in the winter. I know many of you might be waiting for this. You will love this series of the full collection, if you are interested what other lipstick collection innisfree have been introducing, check the 2013 innisfree fall lipstick collection

This year I have to say I love the matte finish that does not crumple after you apply.
And color #8 is my favorite of all.

1~10 Full collection!

This lipstick came out with this diamond shape known to be bit better to get onto the edge of the lipstick mountain without smearing it on parts you don't want.

You can see that if you apply lightly it is a very glossy expression

But as you layer it on you can see the pigment so strong and so pretty.

Before we go on to the lip swatches I wish to tell you about the beautiful texture it has.

It did have that transparent and yet moist glow, but it also had that strong cling and matte finish. This series had that sticky feeling very similar to MAC Hugable but bit more transparent and lighter than MAC. 

I saw this from the Innisfree New Fall Runway about how to use this series of lipstick

This is the same lipstick makeup that has been use in the From the Stars by Jun Jee Hyun. Because of the matte finish this series has the lipstick will not crumble, if it does the edgy sexy lips will not be able to be expressed.
And yet, so moist!

Innisfree, Melt your Black Heads Away,Jeju Volcanic Black Head Out Balm

We all seen the renewal of Jeju Volcanic line in Innisfree

Overall they did a good job for toner and clay mask

But since I already have Scinic Clay Mask and their toner

I decided to review those later.

HOW TO USE?

Apply the balm on your nose before you do cleansing foam

Rub for 3~5 minutes

In my opinion do for 10~15 to max effect, I feel 5 minutes isn't enough

(if you have rubber pore brush it will increase the results)

INGREDIENTS

Safe, Warning, High Warning

Mineral Oil, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostear, Polyethylene, Tocopheryl Acetate, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Orchid Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Amellia Japonica Leaf Extract. Opuntia Coccinelifera Fruit Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Volcanic Ash, Silica, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol

The cream is nice balm type

If you scrape some out best to use speculator for more cleaner use.

But the first touch of texture is just some none liquid cream balm

Once your finger touches the balm the balm slowly melts and becomes some kind of oil.

This oil will somehow soak out black heads out of the pores.

I tend to not prefer something that cleans out black head but doesn't tighten up the pore again

But I decided to give this balm a chance because it is suppose to melt down the blackheads.

Those that is tape type that pull out black heads also open up your pores

which is a more easier way to get black heads fast.

So I always prefer products like

Scinic Clay Pore Pack, or Sheet mask that has two step, opening and tightening back.

I didn't have much black heads left to test the result 

so I decided to test on my brother's nose XD

He had some oily greasy nose, so I gave a oily rub for 5 minutes.

I did see some black heads and white heads that have been soaked out and was getting between my fingers, but I find it wasn't enough for deeper black heads.

I decided to lengthen the time of massage

I kept drawing snail on his nose, and around 15 minutes 

I find the balm did full cleaning of the nose.

I feel it's well done but I was bit disappointed that it didn't do full cleansing like I would see with Scinic Clay Pore Pack that I am using these days.

Also I did find it bit annoying having to rub my nose for more than 10 minutes

Yes I can do for 5 and see less effect but it's still bit too much work for a lazy fat cat like me.

It wasn't a dramatic effect but I could see some people might like something alternative to clay mask and sheet mask for black heads, also since you can use this for everyday while other options might just irritate your pores and cause infected acne. 

Best to get them while they are in sale~

Innisfree Mineral Glow Base, Perfect Makeup Base for Dewy Korean Makeup

I like innisfree but this line isn't my favorite, but since my reader asked me to do a review about this line, (I know I have a long list of request to do) Finally I found something in this line that I liked and that was the glow base.

I don't like the innisfree mineral melting cushion because it is too drying and I see no dewy glow it promises. 

I don't like the mineral fixer because the spray is so thick I get some part of my face too much fixer and some parts none.

There is the glow base stick, nice product really nice glow and great for highlighter on top of foundation. Unlike most highlighter the color is beige and has small pearl that makes it even more natural.

Today's review is about the Glow Base and Glow Base Stick. This is the two products I liked about Innisfree Mineral Glow Base, this line came out a while now but I know there are girls out there who are interested.

This is the Innisfree Mineral Glow Base and Glow Stick

15000won / 20ml and 12000won / 12g

Innisfree Mineral Glow Base has this nice clean pump

One pump is enough for the face of course there is bit different with each person.

The cream texture is very moist and had this pinkish color

But it didn't show when I spread the cream,

Just had this watery glow

It had no oil just a lot of moist as you can see the oil paper wet around the cream.

This makeup base is not really for coverage but more for 

tone clearing and making your skin texture smooth

and give a very light watery glow

Innisfree Glow Stick is one of those skin toned highlighters
I know there are girls who don't like the white color of other brand's highlighter
Because it gives off a pale look or it just doesn't match your skin color
But this glow stick has this very small and beautiful glitter
and since it's a skin color it will be so much natural

The color is very close to goldish vanilla I liked how it brings in better glow into the skin

I didn't do my pore tightening care these days because I was too busy

The after picture I used the mineral glow base and added glow stick under the eyes

You can see the natural glow it bring to the face.

Overall I love the moist finish of the mineral glow base

It doesn't get dry even until the afternoon.

Yes it does has that small glitters inside the base

But its small enough so that it is not seen

However if you find allergic reactions from these glitter I suggest not to get this base.

I suggest this mineral glow base to dry and combination skin

To oily skin because it is not really moist and has no oil control

You might find your face greasy.

The glow stick is for anyone who does not like the normal white, pale brightener

and is looking for a creamy type, so that the pearls would not fall out

or looks bit fake.

I personally like to use cream or liquid type of highlighter because it gives more natural glow to the face than powder. Plus powder I experience too much fall outs and lands on my black jackets. Defiantly for those who love natural watery glow makeup

I love products and I love how Get it Beauty would let us see some unknown products in a new way. This blind test also helped beginners what to chose and helped beginners to see how there are difference in each product and each brand. Also that cheap brands doesn't always means bad quality.

Overall Opinion

I do like Hanskin because this brand has the darkest color tone in Korean Cosmetic

Also Hanskin has various BB cream that interest me in many way.

I have suggested Hanskin brand to many BB cream lovers and many of them enjoy it as much. Anyways Hanskin is BB cream Professional brand they have more than 20 types of BB cream all different uses!

Missha Mperfect cover BB is great, for me it also brightens up my skin tone.

These primers are all great and my favorite is obviously Banila Co. and I am glad that this product has been noticed in Get it Beauty.

Benifit Doctor Feel Good last long but I feel that because its balm texture I feel it's heavy and the heaviness makes the balm to have loose cling, and if you apply too much it can move the makeup around.

Other Primer for pores are Miguhara BP Cream, The Face Shop Velvet Skin Primer

Loose Powder that will make all oily skin silky

For Oily skin or most any skin you need a powdery finish in order to help makeup to last longer. One of the powder used for this effect is loose powder.
All these are great!
I love Lotree Rosa loose powder because in greasy face just this once powder makes the face look so much prettier :") The skin expression is more softer afterwards and all that greasy shin change into more dewy shimmer! Since the powder of Lotree don't mass you can easily use this as makeup fixing product, use the powder consistently like you use oil paper.

If Lotree brand cost is bit too much You can get the cheaper version which is Tony Moly Luminous Perfume Face Powder, I think overall the features of the two there isn't a big difference, although there is bit of the feeling that the Lotree powder seems more lighter and color bit more less strong so that it doesn't cover up your blushes.

Concealer, I like to use liquid concealer of darker tone for my dark circles before I apply a lighter tone of cream texture concealer on top (This is my way of completely covering dark circles). All of these are great, I would rather get the Bavipht than Can make because of the cost and I like how Baviphat has both stick and liquid in one product.

Other Liquid concealer there is Orbis, Orbis Acne Base, Etude House Duel Concealer, and Tony Moly

There is many ways to do a Dewy Makeup, you can either use liquid highlighter in the very end of the makeup step around the cheeks and C zone and the nose. For liquid highlight I like to use Etude House Face Glam, my favorite. But to those who likes to start off with a shimmery base these are all great products but I find them bit expensive. I'll go with Etude House Face Glam which is like 1/4 of the prices.

Kiss me is great too I like the coverage it has but The face shop and apieu is cheaper :") Price is important as well as the quality!

I liked the Laneige Shimmering powder because I felt there isn't much shimmering falls on my black clothes!

Anna Sui is great too, but I do not like the cost so much :/

If you find innisfree powder massing getting into your nerves you can use the innisfree no sebum pact which is a hard powder that has even better powder texture and long lasting.

I have reviewed The Face Shop Face it Primer Velvet skin before, I really loved it and I do like it better than the innisfre and benefit, mostly because of the amount it has and how it's light and even bit moisturizing. I like the finish bit more better because it has this baby soft feeling. Which is great for all rough edges and oil that I have.

All of these are great but I like to buy cheaper brands like Apieu which actually won 4th place in this blind test. Apieu Smart Speeder Stick Foundation has bit lower coverage than these three but still stronger than the average. Other than that I do not feel Apieu product lacks anything else!

Since summer is coming I start to feel my dry skin turning into oily skin.

My skin tends to change depending on the weather fully. So I need to collect all the skin care products for both oily and dry skin. :"( if my wallet allows.

Anyways, during summer even dry skin might occasionally get greasy feeling.

I also hate how the hot sun will melt the makeup, making the makeup last shorter and lowers the coverage that I finished when I walked out of my house.

Also because we get sweaty we need something LIGHT, Moist, and clean.

I think I found the just the right products for your summer cushion.

I found Long Wear Cushion quiet interesting. It turned out that this cushion has a very powdery smooth finish. I mean really? in a cushion? Cushion tends to be moist and I know those who hate cushion is mostly because of that greasy feeling afterwards that happens when moist and oily skin mixes and make this greasy dirty look. However Long Wear Cushion had no such dewy moist look that I didn't feel that greasy feeling.

You might think, powdery? it must be very drying.

Actually I have to say you are wrong about this product. If you do the skin care product very moisturizing you would not feel drying with this long wear cushion.

The powder not only gives a clean look and long lasting and even prevents darkening but it also hold oil giving the cushion a serum control features which oily skin would love. It kind of feels like after you do foundation and add powder afterwards but you do that with one product.

Water Glow Cushion is like any other moist cushion. 

Has that same dewy look and moisturizing is great too. 

Instead of water they used green tea extract to increase the moist which help the makeup from falling and melting down so it's great to those who have dry skin.

They both comes with a large mirrors and a blue cushion pump

Water Glow Cushion / Long Wear Cushion

Just by looking at the cushion we can see that water glow cushion has more moist.

I prefer dewy look and moisturizing product but as summer slowly bring in those oils from T zone and U zone I prefer the Long Wear Cushion more. If it's not the oils the heat brings in sweat making the makeup move around, which made me use Long Wear Cushion for the summer more.

I think Water Glow cushion is more for EXTREME Dry Skin.

Which means even dry skin if you did the skin care moisturizing enough you can still use Long Wear Cushion if you feel you'll like Long Wear Cushion more.

I tend to use primer on the t zone and serum control powder afterwards, but I felt I don't need to have so many steps caring for oily parts of my skin while I use Long Wear Cushion, the cushion itself control my oils quiet well, we'll see how it does later in the summer but for now, I get to skip heavy makeup! YEAH!

Long Wear Cushion / Water Glow Cushion

They are both 21 but you can see that Long Wear cushion is bit more yellowish and more darker, the reason is because Long Wear Cushion has bit more powder inside which gives the cushion color a bit more darker look. So for Long Wear Cushion if you tend to use 21 I suggest get the 13 because it might turn out bit dark for you.

Water Glow Cushion(Top) / Long Wear Cushion(Bottom)

Actually you can see the powder just by tapping some cushion out.

You can see that Water Glow Cushion has bit more creamy texture while the Long Wear Cushion has powdery texture.

OVERALL OPINION

Long Wear Cushion

Long Wear Cushion as a semi light matte texture with a smooth soft powdery finish. I love that there is no oil which is important for all oily skin.

After using for a while I find this cushion cover up in the order of Blemishes the best, than pores and than the black heads. It has a moist feeling inside and soft powder feeling afterwards. As time goes by I felt no darkening but when the cushion dried out it did stuck between deeper wrinkles but you can easily tap it with your fingers no need to do full makeup fix. Even if the cushion dried out I felt no falling or crumbling of makeup. Also I felt no need to fix my makeup even till late night, it's a very long lasting and a perfect cushion for everyone

*Well except severely dry skin*

Water Glow Cushion

Water Glow Cushion had a nice dewy finish very common finish for a cushion and something different than Long Wear Cushion. Water Glow Cushion had bit more oil than Long Wear Cushion but I don't necessary think you should say it has oil because its more lighter than most foundation. I think this product is great for dry skin who feels dry even in the middle of the summer.

Water Glow Cushion had better scores for covering the pores and bit weaker on blemishes than Long Wear Cushion.

One of the most important products before you start your makeup everyday is FOUNDATION or Other color makeup products if you prefer BB cream and CC cream. Foundation is very important to start off your makeup, because you want flawless and brightened up skin.

Today I picked two products that is considered Best liquid foundation in some opinion. There are lot of Great and Best liquid foundation out there but since I can't offered to buy every singe, I got these two products to compare, Why don't you read along and tell me which one is the best and who wins?

Let's start with colors

These two products has various colors for various type of skin color

I think its good for both products to give the girls all over the whole to choose the color

that is the closest to your skin color. We all want natural don't we? It's wired to have a extreme pale face and dark neck and body.

 Innisfree Mineral Moisture Foundation SPF17

Innisfree kindly divided the colors into Warm tone and Cool Tone

If you don't know what tone you are here's a post to help you out!

Warm tone Colors(LEFT) : W1 Light Beige, W2 Natural Beige, W3 Deep Beige
Cool tone Colors(Right) : C1 Pink Beige, C2 Pink Nature Beige, C3 True Beige

Since I tend to use Color 21s (In Korean Cosmetic Product Standard) I choosen #4 for the Giorgioarmani Beauty Lasting Silk UV Foundation and W1 for the Innisfree Mineral Moisture Foundation. Though I think Giorgioarmani color #2 and #4 is very similar if you wish for a brighter tone that lightens up your skin tone you can go for #2

If you have used innisfree Mineral Foundation before 2013 (I think I'm not so sure of the dates) They have change those long products into this shorter and foundation with increased ability to cling, long last and stay moist, I hope you don't confused with the older version

Giorgioarmani is also a new version not so sure when they changed the product but before it was a dropper type, Yup very unhygienic. But now they change that!

When you open the boxes and the tube, you can see it is pump type, for cleaner use and easier to control the amount, I found 1~2 pumps is enough to cover up a average sized face. Since both textures are soft so they softely spread around your skin. Which I will explain more detailed below

Giorgioarmani Beauty Lasting Silk UV Foundation SPF20

When I spread this cream I feel like it's melting on me XD

Like ice cream that is melting along my hand I love how it so softy spread across my hand. This means less irritation and easy spread with smaller amount. I'm not really a cosmetic grudges trying to save as much every time I use something, but it's nice to know that I can save bit of cash :D

After time pass it turns moist and cool finish without any stickiness

The moist didn't last as long so remember to have enough moisturizing in skin care 

Innisfree Mineral Moisture Foundation SPF17

One of the features this product promise is thick moist

So I expected bit of more thicker and more heavy type of cream

But I find this is much more lighter than the Giorgioarmani

Even if I spread the cream very lightly the pigment still exist 

But this also means that if you are not careful of the amount the pigment might get too much meaning you might end up having a face too pink and bright.

After time pass, I find it slowly turns into semi-matty texture.

I felt no stickiness afterwards

Because I said it's semi-matty it doesn't mean it's matty

Because there is a lot of oil inside the product that helps moist to last longer and give a dewy look into your face. Also I felt no dry outs.

Giorgioarmani Beauty Lasting Silk UV Foundation SPF20

For Giorgioarmani brand, you can see that it clings to the skin so strong that

It almost looks like the color is my skin without makeup! In a days when you are having bad-makeup day, in times when your skin is not doing hot.

This strong cling still helps the makeup not to look so flaky.

Innisfree Mineral Moisture Foundation SPF17

I love the strong pigment, it really bring up the skin tone

I like the dewy glow it gives. I find the moist last longer the Giorgioarmani.

Although clinging seems to be weaker because of all the extra moist it give to the skin

***Innisfree Mineral Moisture Foundation comes with a oil product

If you mix with this foundation you can expect higher cling and higher coverage
