War with Acne, How to live without Acne? How to Care for Acne

"Please do not press this red button" I remember this popular app on Myspace long time ago. I remember this statement want me to press the button no matter what! ha, well the acne on your face looks the same, but really don't press. It hurts, you'll infect it, and by pressing and squeezing will not solve. It will only leave you acne scares.

Acne is very common among teens when their over flowing hormones go overwhelming. However now we have Adult Acne that appear after the teen stage. There is many reason why we get these acne, the doctors divide all acne prone skin into 3 types.

Try taking this test to see which type acne you are getting. You can have various type not just one. You can have all A, B, C or just two or one.

A type :

Acne mostly appears on the forehead

Stress just makes the acne get redder

I feel heat around my skin often

I often have headache and don't get good sleep

I get painful acne around the chest

Reason : Stress, Toxic and Heat is the reason for these acne

Stress makes not normal heat inside the body and that get around the blood stream causing redness around the skin and this brings out large amount of oil into the skin

Cure : Reducing stress is most important, and also getting the toxic inside the skin out. Activity that does this is Half body baths. Just until it feels good, not too long that cause heat up this will only worsen the problem. Another temperately thing you can do is reduce heat around the face, there is a lot of method to this is using mask 

B Type :

Acne mostly appear on the cheeks

When I eat greasy food I get acne

When I brush my teeth I tend to feel uncomfortable inside

I have little appetite for food

When I press pit of the stomach it's painful

Reason : Digestion, especially toxic in the stomach caused your acne

Many people who has problem with digestion tend to have toxic pill up inside the stomach like sputum. This cause lack of appetite and heat up to your skin.

Cure : There are herbs and medicine that helps, what you can do is to eat slowly and give massage around the stomach. Rub your hands to heat up your hands make a fist and rub your stomach on in clockwise circle.

I remember how my dad rubbed my stomach when I had a bad flu this really calmed my pain and helped me sleep :)

C Type :

Acne mostly appear on the U zone

Before your period you experience constipation

You experience gas inside your stomach

When you press lower stomach you feel pain

Reason : You hold toxic or gas below your stomach this is caused by dysfunction of the bowel movement and uterine uneven cycle. Which keep gas longer than it needs too and stacks toxic inside the body.

Cure : To cure constipation there are a lot of Fermented Foods that you can eat, like kimchi(XD) and yogurt

Now we know the "inner problem" that caused acne, if you cure the reasons it will help you stop getting any more acne and make the acne disappear. But it's not always easy to stay health all the time.

Cushion review I know you girls love makeup base products. I've did a voting on my blog it's just right at the Right side if you haven't voted already. I saw you all love my How to post but also want more reviews about the Major street brands review. Well, I brought you one. :)

Its a new cushion brought by The Face Shop, I think these days Face shop really bring out products that is worth giving interest. However The Face Shop is not so popular overseas yet, I hope more people acknowledge this brand. No I am not paid to say this, its my truthful opinion after buying so many cosmetic in my life XD

Well I'm having fun with Photoshop these days, although I lack desperate with artistic skills. Anyways, this cushion was popular because Suji from Miss A having advertising this product. Also. it had a bit different concept than air cushion. The name screen cell really matches with this product.

Apply in foundation step. Paint the cushion all over the face and tap to blend it over your face. for more coverage layer the cushion.

Screen cell was bit more bigger than IO** Cushion case.

I liked how clean it was not like The Face Shop Aqua Cushion which felt like some kind of toy when I close and open. It was much more firm but I hoped they did the same for the pump holder. I felt if I'm not careful I might break it easily.

Nice Air pump... But why why is it this color?

It's hard for me to see how much I put the cushion cream on the cushion. Which is hard for me to control the amount. This is quiet crucial for this product I'll explain later.

This is the famous Screen Cell

with a gentle touch the cream spread across the screen cell just nice amount.

I added the picture when it is completely soaked

Comparison

I love the dewy finish, like it shown in the picture the cream very white, so if you have used 21 colors bright beige might feel bit more lighter than normal 21's you seen in other brands. 

Coverage is around Medium. But you can layer the product for better coverage.

However I did find that if you layer on too much it makes the makeup thick, unless you have the skill of very sensitive tap making very thin layer, I suggest to use concealer. It's not easy to control :/

Don't say anything about my pores... I had a long night drink day before I took this picture. So my skin is suffering the result.

I don't know.. not really my favorite as time goes by, mostly because, I feel it's dry.

Yes it's moist when you apply but I could feel that is starts too get too dry afterwards. Good thing about this product is that usually other cushion when moist dehydrates the cream darkens or looks like clay, this didn't even if the moist is gone. I recommend that you do very moistful skin care before you apply this cushion.

I seriously love the dewy shimmer it give to the skin making my skin looks so flawless and whiter than the actual color of the cream! Love it. The scent is sweet which means there is artificial scent inside, if you are allergic to artificial scent, don't consider this product.

I love how I can easily fix the makeup with this, and the glow within the product makes the makeup as if just done few minutes ago. Looking refreshed and clean flawless :)

To prevent this use powder afterwards for a finish.

I really love this product see how overall redness is died down, and troubled part of the skin have died down in first use. I been seeing my friend using this for a while now. I really think her acne is disappearing. and her skin looks so much brighter.

Expensive... Very expensive for little bottle. But I get were the price is coming from, it's that much effective. I have used various acne cream or ampule, I always didn't find much difference and seems like its not working. I'm sure many of you have experienced this. There are good products out there but the product that shown fastest result for me was this product. 

The only concern about this product is the rough opening. Although I know some may like the tight lid. But for me it took a while that I felt frustrated. 

Second is the scent, its those scent in herbal medicine, it's light but there are people who hate this kind of scent. But I would get over it because it will cure your acne! That's enough for me XD

I love how fast it absorb which means it can go in deeper into your skin.

Which is also a downside too because it means you have to apply more because it will be gone before you spread! LOL

Various K pop Star Cleansing Technic!

Sometimes daily normal cleansing can get boring, or you might be just looking for more effective way to do your daily cleansing. Here's are some K pop star cleansing tips to cleansing they do to increase the effect of daily cleansing!

Some of the showed Technic that I find effective within a month of use

1. Lee Ming Jeong

Her secret is Mist!

First

After applying cleansing oil around the face enough, and press to melt the oil to melt the makeup. The hand heat helps the oil to melt the makeup much better

 

Second

Spray the mist and wait for 30 sec and massage the skin to clean off the pore inside.

After washing off the oil with warm water 

This method give deep cleansing and also moisturizing effect!

2. Song Hye Jean

The point here in this method is they used steam towel

First

After face wash use warm steam towel and set it on your skin for 1 mintues to open up the pores. Massage the face parts where there is large pores

Third

After you use pore cleansing product use water with lemons drops to tighten up the pores.

The lemon will help disinfection the pores and helps tighten the pore

3. Suji 

For oily skin who does a lot of makeup

The method secret is washing for 10 minutes 

First

Apply cleansing oil as if you are drawing circle for 4 minutes.

Second

After making a thick bubble with cleansing foam apply it on the face and massage it for 2 minutes.

Third

Use warm water to wash several times, at least 4 minutes.

This helps pore cleansing and helps get rid of turn over

What Products Should You Use for Cleansing?

Sometimes I know all of you get headaches from various types of products. Even make it worse they name them so differently. Well, today's theme is Cleansing. We all know how cleansing is important. It seems like very beauty channels stresses about cleaning your skin very well.

But I can see there is bit of miss understanding sometimes. Some girls would wash their faces three times or more and complain how it pulls her skin. Some girls would use strong products that irritates their skin. This is not a good way to be cleaning your skin.

I will say, let's do it right the first time around!

Cleansing Types

Cleansing Foams

Probably most used and most known products use to clean your skin. There is various types of cleansing foams from softer finish to hard pore wash cleansing foams. Cleansing foams method is making small micro bubbles to clean from deep into the skin even the pores. 

HOW TO USE? 

Squeeze or pump out the cleansing onto your palm mix with warm water to make as much bubbles you can by rubbing your hand or using a bubble maker towel.

Effects?

Cleansing foams cleans deep so great if you are looking for something that cleans out inside the pores and also cleans off oil and helps your skin to get ready to absorb the next makeup step which is skin care. Which is important for all skin types.

Cleansing foams are more for Oily skin though Dry skin can use softer cleansers. 

Hard Soap

Mostly used to wash hands but there are natural organic hard soap out in the market that has various effects from pore cleansing, black head cleansing, to whitening etc. 

HOW TO USE?

Rub the hard soap on to your hand to make bubbles rub the bubble on to your skin, roll softly.

Effects?

Various, all depends on the type of ingredient they use.

Since it's all natural and less chemical, it's great for all skin even sensitive ones.

Cleansing Oil

Like Cleansing foam there is variety of products out in the market. From cleansing oils with greasy finish to light cleansing oils that light enough for even for oily skin type. Most advice Dry skin to use cleansing oil, but I think even oily skin can use the light types.

HOW TO USE?

Apply the cleansing oil on your hand softly massage your face with the cleansing oil, remember if you press your hand for few seconds the heat in your hand helps the oil to melt thick makeup. After you message well and thoroughly, slowly melt the oil with water by applying little by little. If you splash water few times like you will do when you use cleansing foam you'll end up feeling too greasy. Apply water as you message your face is the method of not having oil on your skin. 

Effects?

This is great for people who's moist-oil balance is uneven and need bit of barrier over their skin before they start their makeup.

Peeling Foam

Peeling foam has had peels that is more a scrub than cleansing but there are no irritation soft types which I recommend to sensitive skin. Because unlike Cleansing foams it does not create fiction with your skin. Also much lighter than cleansing oil.

HOW TO USE?

Apply the foam on the face and slowly message your skin with it. Remember to do it softly you don't want to irritate your skin. Wash it off with water after you are done. 

Effects?

Not irritating soft types cleans your skin without reddening and pulling after wash.

I recommend peeling foams to sensitive skin types.

Other types for Makeup

Lip & Eye Remover

Sometimes makeup doesn't erase as well with the products above. There are specialized types of products you can use. Like Cream and liquid types for Lips & Eyes. 

So now that you know what to use

What would be my recommendation?

Cleansing Foams

Happy Bath Soap Berry Bubble Foam

This cleansing is great for all skin types even dry skin types because it has a moist finish. Even after the cleansing you can feel moisturizing and less pulling though for severely dry people might not feel this is enough.

TIPS! Check the ingredients! Buy products that has more plant extract and products with Ceramide, this ingredient helps protecting your skin from going dry which causes skin pulls after cleansing foams.

BEST Lip&Eye Remover Cream Type, Banila Co Clean it Zero!

There is two step on cleansing, First you gotta remove the lip and eye makeup first because foam cleansing can't erase them all. There is the liquid type, my favorite is Aritaum Lip & Eye Remover. This time I decided to buy a cream type that you can just wipe it off with sponge.

My best recommendation is Banila Co Clean it Zero

There are two types the Pink and the Blue

The Mint came out even more less irritating and more skin friendly ingredients. I already think pink is so soft on the skin. So I decided to get the Mint for the review :) 

Actually there is more types, 

Pink : Refreshing finish 

Blue(Purity) : Helps calming irritated skin, helps smooth out skin texture

White(Radiance) : Whitening effect(vitamin), pore cleaning

Mint(Resveratrol) : tightening effect, Refreshing finish

Ingredients

Like I said I personally think the pink is already very soft for the skin, but this is made more softer on the skin.

When you open the lid you can see the plastic spoon inside and a plastic lid over the cream for more cleaner use! If you don't close the lid sometimes makeup can get mix into the cream and it's hard to scrap it off :"(

You don't need too much just that amount is enough for one side of smoky eye makeup. Please rub softly don't rub it like as if you are scraping off the makeup, just gently rub, you don't want wrinkles around your eyes. The cream will mix into the makeup and melts it.

The texture is not liquid cream but more of hard cream but not solid hard either.

CLEANSING

Since we are looking at a cleansing product let's see how well it erase makeup!

You can use tissue to wipe off the cream but I think water is much less irritating.

You need the cleansing foam anyways afterwards. So use water ;)

I find the usage very easy no troubles at all, I like how I can even massage my eyes while I'm cleaning the makeup. And the cream melts really fast so it doesn't takes so long. For underlines if you have folds you can use a swab for more detailed cleansing. Yes I can open my eyes while I'm using this cream it will sting if it gets in your eyes (I had a unfortunate experience of poking my eye) but it not a cream that moves around or melts downwards, so you can control it. Just don't be clumsy like me XD

4.5 Because sometimes there were some tint redness and Tony Moly liner left overs but no worries because I do foam cleansing afterwards so no problems for me. But if you wish to just use this one cream because your skin is irritated just remember to rub bit more thoroughly before wash. I might have missed a bit to find bit of left overs

0.5! Since I can't say 0 because there might be someone in the world who find this irritating. But in my opinion I feel that is has absolutely no irration, No pulls afterwards, no greasy feeling afterwards. Just love love love this product!!!

Its a tube type, one pump was enough for me to spread but you can apply here and there and won't have layer marks because it is a like a moisturizing cream that absorb.

Very normal texture of cream. I love how fast it absorb again, I think this whole line is great for oily skin and teenage girls. The scent is the tomato scent.

But like the toner and essence, it is not enough moist for dry skin.

Just like the toner and essence, it is watery and moist but not enough moist for moisturizing. This cream has more moisturizing than the toner and essence, but I needed something bit more because I was having bit of dry skin today. But if you have oily skin or combination it might be enough for you.

Light and watery, but bit too light for extreme dry skin.

t's hard to show all the effect with just the pictures. I really felt that this products helps with whitening up or more brightening up my skin. I think it even slowly dim out my acne spots, but very little. I might have to use trouble spot products for actual effect, but this helped too.

Very watery I see no color, just like any toner.

There is this tomato scent but not too much. This toner absorb in fast and very light. I see not really moist but it's a great product to use as the first step of the skin care. A great product for teenagers who need something light for the first step.

My skin was bit dry these days so it felt bit too light, but I waited and used the toner. I find that it well clean off the skin that cleansing foam missed. I also felt that this toner extra cleaning off also had effect on relaxing the skin and reducing the redness on the cheeks.

I love the milky texture. Also it's very watery like the toner. The scent is the same as the toner, soft tomato scent.

I love how light it is but, really I never seen a whitening product that has no oily feeling but just moist! But it's not moisturizing either. But I did feel that my skin texture felt very soft. I personally think Oily skin might like this better than Dry skin. So I had to use bit more thicker moisturizing products afterwards. But I feel that the tomato extract has all the vitamin C that helps my skin to whiten up. So it's defiantly a good product for oily skin and teenage girls.

I did feel it does seem to care the skin more than concentrate on the whitening. I personally think that it really helps out the texture and the all that tomato also have effect on acne a bit. For whitening I think I need to use 2 more week because it's only been two weeks, but I do see bit change in skin color from seeing the picture. I hope you do too!

How to use the Whitening Products? What are them? How to use them effectively?

Skin food was already so popular with their Tomato whitening line, I even introduced it in the post, 2013 Skin Care Product Line Recommendation. This month they decided to renew it in the theme called "Tomato Photoshop". They even upgrade the quality into tomatoes that has been grown in a special farm that is studying to make the best quality of tomatoes.

Before we see the products let's answer some of the questions. What is whitening products? Whitening products are products that products that whitens up the skin in color and smoother in texture. We all love whitening products but we have a lot to ask. Every time we buy a Whitening products people say, you have to keep applying for actual result, so how long? There are also, sensitive skin who tend to have irritation with whitening products so what could they use? Whitening products is so expensive, what makeup step has the most effect? I'm going to answer each questions, I hope to help you all with understanding whitening products and how to increase the effect depending on the skin type.

How long till you can see effect on the skin?

Whitening products usually advertise that they will see effect within 2~3 weeks. But professional makeup artist say you should wait till 1 month. If you don't find any result, you are using something that doesn't fit your skin or there is a problem with the product.

How to choose whitening products?
It's best to buy the whole line for full effect but usually it is very expensive.
Here's what I suggest to buy if you are limited to fewer products.

If you are buying one - Buy the essence! Essence tends to have the most thickest whitening effect.
If you are buying two - Essence + Toner / Essence + Cleansing
Yes, cleansing if you can find one with whitening effect. These whitening cleansing has effect with cleansing out toxic and open up the skin to absorb skin products. This way you can increase the essence effect. There is a lot of whitening creams that also work for makeup base, but if you are looking for more effect on actually changing the skin not initial whitening, you should get essence.

Can I use the Whitening product?
For whitening effect the whitening products has these following effect, Hydro kinon, Arbutin, vitamin C, etc. You have to see which one is effecting irritation. This will take some patience and testing out the products yourself.

How to increase the effect?
Dry skin
For dry skin, skin texture is dry, hard and white turn overs.
White turn overs makes the skin more dry, you need peel those off so use a nice skin peel products like Missha Super Aqua D-Tox Peeling Gel, and keep the moist-oil balance.

If you are too dry and sensitive to use skin peel, use lotion or softer type skin peel.

Sensitive Skin
There are parts of your skin that is itchy and dry patches with white turn overs
Use skin peels without round small hard capsule, like wash off type and do a very soft massages
Remember to ALWAYS ALWAYS test the products before use!

Oily Skin
Even if you have greasy skin, the oil sometimes blocks the skin to naturally drops off white flakes. You need a skin peels too.

You need something that also cleans out the pores because the oil can easily block the pores and cause troubles. You nee peel off types of scrubs, will effectively clean the skin and also not irritate your skin.
